Product Description - Laboratory Oven
What is Laboratory Oven?
Laboratory ovens are a standard piece of equipment found in electronics, materials processing, forensic, and research laboratories. These ovens generally pinpoint temperature control and uniform temperatures throughout the heating process. The following applications are some of the common uses for laboratory ovens: annealing, die-bond curing, drying or dehydrating, Polyimide baking, sterilizing, evaporating. Some ovens can reach temperatures that are higher than 300 degrees Celsius. These temperatures are then applied from all sides of the oven to provide constant heat to the sample. Laboratory ovens can be used in numerous applications and configurations, including clean rooms, forced convection, horizontal airflow, inert atmosphere, natural convection, and pass through.
Laboratory Oven Uses
Many types of laboratory heating ovens are used throughout laboratories. Standard digital ovens are mainly used for drying and heating processes while providing temperature control and safety. Heavy-duty ovens are used more in industrial laboratories and provide testing and drying for biological samples.
Laboratory Oven are designed, calibrated & tested to suitable various applications in growing fields.
Construction of Laboratory Oven:
Double walled laboratory oven constructed with inside Aluminium / Stainless Steel chamber having 60-75 mm glass wool insulation. Door is Fitted with heavy chrome plated hinges. Provided with adjustable Steel / Aluminium / Wire mesh trays. Temperature is recorded by means of L shaped thermometer fitted at the front of the cabinet. Temperature controlled by hydraulic capillary thermostats.
How Laboratory Oven works?
Heating elements are made up of high grade (Kantha I) resistance wire heaters are fitted/wound along all the sides of the oven laboratory equipment.
Complete with two pilot lamps, plug pins.
Temperature Gauge:- Ambient To 250 deg ±1 deg C
- Air circulation can be fitted in all the sizes mentioned above for proper air circulation at an extra cost.
- Digital temperature indicator cum controlled can be fitted for better accuracy results.
- Alarm system can be fitted at an extra cost.
- For higher temperature i.e. 200° C always buy stainless steel chambers.
- High temperature ovens/driers can be manufactured up to 350° C
