Our digital compression testing machines were designed to meet the need for a simple, economical and reliable way to test the compressive strength of concrete. The design emphasizes both construction and function and makes the machine easy to use and maintain. Complete unit includes: LOAD UNIT is an all-welded construction with strong and solid cross-member, base and side rails. The hydraulic cylinder is attached to the base. Machine surfaces are hardened, ground and polished. The upper stage is equipped with a self-aligning action. To facilitate testing on specimens of different sizes, a sturdy screw is provided to lower or raise the plate. A ball seat attachment is attached to the top plate to test the stability of the machine.
A compression test is any test in which a material experience opposing forces that push inward upon the specimen from opposite sides or is otherwise compressed, “squashed”, crushed, or flattened. The test sample is generally placed between two plates that distribute the applied load across the entire surface area of two opposite faces of the test sample. Then the plates are pushed together by a universal test machine causing the sample to flatten. A compressed sample is usually shortened in the direction of the applied forces and expands in the direction perpendicular to the force. A compression test is essentially the opposite of the more common tension test.

Calibration of compression testing machine
Cube Testing Machine Calibration is done in following steps:
- The Master Proving Ring takes place at the Cube Testing Machine center
- The test ring is pre-charged three times at full test load.
- Testing is performed by applying ten test loads at nine equal intervals in ascending order. For each test load, the deflection is recorded on the display of the main test ring.
- The device for proving must only be used in one direction of loading, that is, in compression.
- Procedure/steps 3.1 to 3.4 are repeated for three sets, i.e. Positions 00120 0 and 270 0 clockwise.
